Kimberly A. Tryka has been the Associate Director of the
Virginia Center for Digital History (VCDH) since earning
her Masters of Library and Information Science, with a
concentration in Archival Management, at the University of
Pittsburgh in 2001. She also holds a Ph.D. in Planetary
Science from Caltech.

AT VCDH Kim has primarily developed text-based
applications using XML/XLT/XQuery. She works closely with
VCDH's PIs to determine the appropriate technologies and
standards to use for their projects. She also manages
VCDH's technical staff and student workers.
